    The 360 "Quick Sketch" works on 360 sheets of A4 paper from CAFA made their debut at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp.

    On November 30th, the joint exhibition "Art Bridge: From Antwerp to Beijing and Back Again," co-hosted by the Central Academy of Fine Arts and the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp, opened at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp, Belgium. The exhibition featured 360 works created by students from the Central Academy of Fine Arts through spontaneous and timed improvisation. The artworks were uniformly executed on A4-sized paper, showcasing diverse creative techniques, artistic styles, and technical approaches.

    Prof. Shen Hongbiao has been awarded the honorary medal for artists by Mongolia

    On November 22, 2023, Professor Shen Hongbiao from the Sculpture Department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts was awarded the "Mongolian Artist Honorary Medal" by the President of the Mongolian Artists Association, Gangbatu, at the Mongolian Artists Association in Ulaanbaatar. Professor Shen Hongbiao is the fifth artist in history to receive this prestigious honor.

    On November 22, 2023, the Cumulus Beijing (Central Academy of Fine Arts) Conference of the 2023 Cumulus Association opened at the Central Academy of Fine Arts. Lin Mao, the President of the Central Academy of Fine Arts, Professor Lorenzo Imbesi, President of the Cumulus Association, Ms. Eija Salmi, Secretary-General of the Association, and other guests, as well as members of the Cumulus Association Executive Committee, attended the meeting.

    Guang Jun’s New exhibition opened at CAFA Art Museum

    On the 17th of this month, my art exhibition will be held at the Art Museum of the Academy of Fine Arts. There won't be an opening ceremony, so you don't need to hurry. The exhibition will last for a month, and whenever you have time, feel free to come. You might need to buy a ticket (except for me).     The "Chinese Memory: Photography and Sketches by Chilean Painter José Venturelli" exhibition held at the National Art Museum of China

    On October 14th, with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the People's Republic of China and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Chile, the "Chinese Memory: Photography and Sketches by Chilean Painter José Venturelli" exhibition, hosted by the China Association for Cultural Exchange with Foreign Countries, the National Art Museum of China, the Embassy of the Republic of Chile in China, and the José Venturelli Foundation, was unveiled to the audience. The exhibition features more than 40 photography and sketches from the collection of the José Venturelli Foundation, as well as some artworks from the National Art Museum of China. It is divided into three sections: "José Venturelli and the Chinese Cultural Scene," "The Venturelli Couple and Chinese Culture," and "Venturelli's Sketches during His Time in China." Through these sections, the exhibition showcases the historical memories and cultural exchanges between China and Chile, rooted in cultural friendship, and narrates the stories of friendly exchanges between China and Chile that originated from culture.

    Chinese artist Cong Yunfeng launched works in London to speak for cultural relics lost overseas

His mural works, Conversion of the Five Hundreds Bandits, as the strongly response to the controversial blockbuster exhibition, China's hidden century, which took placed at the British Museum until October 8.

    Yu Hong's first solo exhibition in North America "Night Walk" opened on September 21 at the Savannah College of Art and Design Art Museum

    In Night Walk, preeminent painter Yu Hong weaves together her personal experiences and memories with significant collective shifts in contemporary China, portraying epochal transformation within sprawling compositions. In six large-scale, richly detailed paintings and three small studies of hands, Yu Hong evokes classical art historical motifs drawn from a variety of sources, including Théodore Géricault’s The Raft of the Medusa (1818–19), Pieter Bruegel the Elder’s The Blind Leading the Blind (1568), Edvard Munch’s The Scream (1893), El Greco’s The Crucifixion (1597–1600), and others, as well as traditional Chinese painting tropes from the culture’s many-centuries-long heritage.
