The Dior Prize for Photography and Visual Arts for Young Talents, in partnership with LUMA Arles and the ENSP, presents the work of fourteen artists from the world's most prestigious art and photography schools. The 14 laureates' works were exhibited at Luma Arles during the Arles International Photography Festival.

A group of young art students from the Central Academy of Fine Arts will showcase their works at an exhibition curated by themselves at the Huaxiang Youth Science and Technology Park, Beijing, on Aug 7. The event will feature about 50 groups and 100 pieces of works by both graduates and those still in school. Some works have been awarded as 2022's graduation design of the academy.

On July 6th, the Exchange Exhibition Harmony between Korean and Chinese Students from the Central Academy of Fine Arts and Tsinghua University, sponsored by Korean students Association from CAFA and supported by Korean Culture Center in China, opened in the Korean Culture Center in China.

Graduate education is a high-level professional education characterized by research, and it is the highest level of higher education. It plays an important role in promoting China's academic research and development by constantly emerging research achievements and cultivating innovative talents. Therefore, as the foundation of China’s future development, the graduate education and the cultivation of high-level talents has always been concerned. And as the only higher fine arts school, directly under the Ministry of Education, the Central Academy of Fine Arts has been clear about its responsibility and position, which actively explore the characteristics and regularity of academic research and creation of the higher fine arts colleges, and constantly introduce the creation and achievements in scientific research with Subject consciousness of Chinese culture while gradually establish and improve the education mechanism of graduate education. In recent years, with the rapid development of culture, economy and society, the graduate team has been growing rapidly, and the graduate education in CAFA has been in a period of great development. In 2016, the Graduate School of CAFA was established, making CAFA the first academy of fine arts in China to establish a graduate school.

As a representative of the third generation of Japanese artists, the Asia Society invited her to give a lecture on the Possibility of the Third Generation of Post-war Contemporary Japanese Artists. The lecture was hosted by the Asia Society, and the lecture was entirely in English.

From June 14 to 27, 2021, at the invitation of China Art and Entertainment Group Ltd., David Fank from Belgium, Myadagmaa from Mongolia and Rachel from the United States from the Central Academy of Fine Arts and over ten other Chinese and foreign artists visited Kashgar, Aksu, Urumqi and other places of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, participating in the communication and creation activity of "Experience China -- Great Beauty of Xinjiang " between Chinese and foreign artists.

On the afternoon of July 14th, the opening ceremony of the Exchange Exhibition Affection between the Central Academy of Fine Arts and Tsinghua University was held in B1 hall of The Korean Cultural Institute in China.

This creation uses human images to express various stages, moments and states of my life. Coming from Panama, I grew up with a lot of different cultural and environmental influences. Meanwhile, I have experienced lots of things that I can't explain.

In the flood of rich and modern technology and goods, the artist recorded her consumer goods and life by handcraft rather than by mechanical means. This symbolizes the consumptive nature of today's consumer society. In the modern consumption culture, the artist's works show the rich and diverse lifestyles of modern people, and the consumption ways and habits can help us understand someone's life and preferences. Therefore, the consumption is also called the diary.

Nomadism means moving, and moving is used to show the movement of things without fixed points. Mongolians have been living a nomadic lifestyle since ancient times. The Mongolian lifestyle is both settled and nomadic. From the above ideas, I hope to present both the settled culture or fixed architecture and the moving and unfixed form, which can express the essence of Mongolian culture of nomadic life nature and feature of moving .

My graduation creation expresses my thoughts on "theory of good human nature " and " theory of evil human nature ". Lines of Sink refers to the "theory of good human nature ". Colorful life bursts out in the center of the picture, and the color of the lines gradually changes to smooth black and white as time goes by. Lines of Appear refers to "the theory of evil human nature". Deep in the center of the picture, the original evil is represented by dull dark colors. After acquired learning, the lines give off colorful colors like flowers, representing the beauty of life.

Human beings find happiness and comfort in nature. But I know that since humans began to destroy the nature for their own enjoyment, and recklessly did things that against the law of nature and damaged the order of nature, they had to bear the consequences of "natural disasters", such as the Fukushima nuclear power plant accident and the COVID-19 pandemic. I hope that my work Heart will serve as a monument to comfort wounded human hearts as the world faces the COVID-19 pandemic. The nail embedded in the human heart is a metaphor for man's mistreatment of nature. I hope that this work can trigger the reflection on the dignity of life and the protection of the natural ecological environment.

The pieces of work This is desire | This is ignorance | This is this love talks about the three common concepts: desire, ignorance, and love. The idea of the work is to let the audience to thoroughly reflect on the relationship and link among these three concepts. The style of the work is inspired by the antiques of the Taino civilization and their decorative methods and expressive abilities, which are combined with my own creation methods, styles and concepts.

An exhibition titled "China in a Shopping Cart: Eighteen pieces of Time Treasures from Taobao's eighteen-year history" is displayed in Beijing, capital of China, on May 10, 2019.Taobao released eighteen best-selling products which were the most representatives of the consumption trend of each year over the past 18 years: camera film, universal power bank, Luoshi rice noodles, masks...it seems like a visible and tangible " brief consumption history", enabling us to recall the feelings again as time goes by.
