The two sides held a series of working meetings on the future development of the CAFA–KEDGE Institute of Arts and Design Management (hereinafter referred to as the “CAFA–KEDGE Institute”), engaging in in-depth discussions on key topics including research collaboration, academic exchange, and student support and development. Both sides reached broad consensus on further deepening cooperation, improving coordination mechanisms, and promoting the high-quality development of the institute.
Participants from CAFA included Yu Ding, Dean of the CAFA–KEDGE Institute; Fu Yijing, Director of the Office of the University; and Wang Chuan, Director of the International Office. Representatives from KEDGE Business School included Anne Gombault and Alain-James Palisse, among others.

Xu Yang noted that the CAFA–KEDGE Institute represents an important achievement in CAFA’s international educational cooperation and exchange, as well as a concrete embodiment of the long-standing partnership between the two institutions. After years of development, the institute’s undergraduate teaching system has become increasingly mature. Looking ahead, both sides should continue leveraging their respective strengths, further deepen collaboration in research and faculty exchange while maintaining high standards in talent cultivation, continuously expand the scope of cooperation, and elevate the institute’s development to a higher level, thereby creating a broader platform for China–France cultural and people-to-people exchange.
Alexandre de Navailles emphasized that KEDGE Business School highly values its partnership with CAFA. Since its establishment, the CAFA–KEDGE Institute has achieved significant progress, demonstrating the depth and effectiveness of the collaboration between the two institutions. He stated that KEDGE will continue to work closely with CAFA to further strengthen cooperation in education, research, and cultural exchange, and jointly advance the institute’s high-quality development.
During the meetings, the two sides conducted extensive discussions on institutional development, research cooperation, academic exchange, talent cultivation, and operational support. They also exchanged views on further enhancing China–France educational collaboration, improving coordination mechanisms, and strengthening educational quality.

Prior to the meetings, Xu Yang and the delegation visited CAFA–KEDGE Institute students currently studying at KEDGE’s Paris campus, learning in detail about their academic progress and daily life in France. The students shared their experiences regarding coursework, cross-cultural communication, and overseas life. Coinciding with China’s Youth Day on May 4, Xu Yang extended holiday greetings to the students and encouraged them to grow into a new generation of young people equipped with both international vision and professional excellence, contributing their youthful energy to cultural exchange and mutual learning between China and France.
On May 6, Xu Yang and the delegation continued working meetings at KEDGE Business School’s Bordeaux campus. The delegation also toured the Bordeaux campus to gain a deeper understanding of its educational environment, teaching and research facilities, and student learning and living spaces.
