With the vision of “Design for China”, the design team from the Central Academy of Fine Arts assumed the overall design plan for the core area of Tian’anmen Square for the V-Day parade, which features the theme “United, we’ll be as solid as a fortress” symbolizing the concept that with concerted effort, people collectively can generate tremendous strength and be able to over come all difficulties. The Central Academy of Fine Arts (abbr. CAFA) promotes the moral sentiment of “being patriotic, serving the people, advocating virtue, and valuing art”, bringing together “justice and peace” with art to commemorate the great victory of the people.
