On June 13, 2024, Sitenikov Ruslan Leonidovich, First Deputy Chairman of the Government of Irkutsk Region, Russia, along with Minister of Culture Olesya Nikolaevna and their delegation, visited the Central Academy of Fine Arts (CAFA). They held talks with Lü Pinqing, Vice President of CAFA, regarding Sino-Russian cultural and artistic exchanges and potential future cooperation.

Vice President Lü Pinqing warmly welcomed the delegation led by First Deputy Chairman Sitenikov. He expressed the hope of using this opportunity to establish connections with universities and cultural and artistic institutions in Irkutsk Region. The aim is to explore future cooperation possibilities and promote cultural and artistic exchanges between CAFA and Irkutsk Region, further advancing Sino-Russian cultural and artistic interactions.

Sitenikov Ruslan Leonidovich expressed his gratitude for the reception by CAFA. He stated that this visit aims to establish connections between institutions in Irkutsk Region, including Irkutsk State Technical University and Irkutsk Museum, with CAFA. He hopes to explore future cooperation possibilities and use this opportunity to build a robust platform for collaboration.

After the meeting, Gao Gao, Deputy Director of the CAFA Art Museum, accompanied the delegation to visit the undergraduate graduation exhibition.

Relevant department heads and professors who have studied in Russia were also present at the meeting.
