On May 20, 2024, the delegation led by Steve Dixon, President of LASALLE College of the Arts in Singapore, visited the Central Academy of Fine Arts (CAFA) to discuss future collaboration and development between the two institutions. President Lin Mao of CAFA held discussions with the LASALLE delegation, focusing on in-depth cooperation in various fields including teaching, research and creation, exhibitions, and cultural exchanges.
President Lin Mao extended a warm welcome to the LASALLE delegation and provided an overview of CAFA's academic system and teaching conditions. He emphasized that CAFA places great importance on its exchanges and cooperation with LASALLE, highlighting the potential for deep collaboration in areas such as art education, research and creation, and reciprocal visits.
President Steve Dixon expressed his heartfelt gratitude for CAFA's warm reception and highly praised CAFA's outstanding achievements in the field of art education. He noted the profound friendship and extensive foundation for cooperation between LASALLE and CAFA, pointing out the broad prospects for collaboration in art teaching and cultural exchanges. Following the meeting, the two parties jointly signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU). The signing of this MOU marks a new phase in the cooperation between the two institutions in the field of art education, laying a solid foundation for future collaborative development.
