The Ambassador of UAE to China visited CAFA

On January 12, 2024, the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to China, H.E. Hussain Al Hammadi, visited the Central Academy of Fine Arts, engaging in discussions with the President of the Central Academy of Fine Arts, Lin Mao, regarding the enhancement of cultural and artistic cooperation between China and the UAE, as well as the initiation of art projects.

President Lin Mao extended a warm welcome to the Ambassador and his delegation, providing an overview of the academic disciplines and teaching situation at the Central Academy of Fine Arts. He expressed the academy's desire to promote exchange and collaboration with universities in the UAE, aiming to jointly facilitate in-depth cooperation between China and the UAE in the cultural and artistic fields.

Ambassador Hussain Al Hammadi expressed sincere gratitude for the warm reception at the Central Academy of Fine Arts. He emphasized that the UAE government highly values art education, highlighting the significance of deep collaboration to promote cultural exchange and mutual inspiration between the two nations.

After the meeting, Wang Chuan, the Director of the International Office, accompanied the Ambassador on a visit to CAFA Museum, specifically the exhibition titled "the Spirit of Ceramics Excellent Works Tour of the Jingdezhen International Ceramic Art Biennale."

The Vice President of the Central Academy of Fine Arts, Qiu Zhijie, and administrative leaders from relevant departments were also present during the meeting.
