On November 22, 2023, the Cumulus Beijing (Central Academy of Fine Arts) Conference of the 2023 Cumulus Association opened at the Central Academy of Fine Arts. Lin Mao, the President of the Central Academy of Fine Arts, Professor Lorenzo Imbesi, President of the Cumulus Association, Ms. Eija Salmi, Secretary-General of the Association, and other guests, as well as members of the Cumulus Association Executive Committee, attended the meeting. The theme of this forum is "Narratives of Love," aiming to explore the expression and interpretation of love in art and design from different cultures and perspectives. Scholars from China, Italy, South Korea, and other countries engaged in multidimensional exchanges and discussions through paper presentations, exhibitions, workshops, and other methods, contributing wisdom and strength to the development of the field of design research.

As the world's largest and most influential international academic organization, the Cumulus Association aims to promote international exchange and cooperation among design colleges in teaching, research, and practice. This annual meeting is a historic opportunity for the Central Academy of Fine Arts to promote China's exchange and cooperation with the world in art and design education. With a foundation of respecting cultural diversity, it is hoped that, alongside designers and educators from around the world, attention will be collectively focused on the high-quality, sustainable development of global art and design education. Efforts will be made to promote the cultivation of future-oriented talents in art and design.
